sunday morning worship services
Our God is great and greatly to be praised (Ps 145:3) in spirit and in truth (John 4:23).
We worship Him in response to what we know to be true about God and ourselves. He has redeemed us from sin and death by sending his Son to die in our place (2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 3:18). And by grace through faith in Jesus, we are reconciled to God and at peace with God (Rom 5:1). Therefore, we worship. Therefore, we sing (Ps 96:1-2)! And we sing not only to God, but also to one another (Col 3:16) reminding each other of God's goodness and faithfulness.
Through our corporate worship ministries we seek to worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24. We believe the Scriptures teach that the key elements of corporate worship are prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-2), Scripture (1 Timothy 4:13), singing of praise (Ephesians 5:19), giving (1 Corinthians 16:2), the Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:17-34), and baptism (Matthew 23:19). These elements characterize our Sunday morning worship services. The Lord’s Supper and baptisms are celebrated at various times throughout the year. We believe corporate worship that honors God maintains the preaching of the Word of God as its central feature (1 Timothy 4:13-16; 2 Timothy 4:1-4).
Musically our worship aims for an expression of corporate contemporary worship. We blend the rich heritage of hymns with today’s new contemporary Christian songs.
Our group of committed Christian musicians passionately leads us in worship through song each Sunday. The team meets for rehearsal, prayer, and devotions each week.
